An open system fully compatible with all existing ripple control installations throughout the world, the AGUILOG® system allows simultaneous and exact monitoring of ripple control signals to receivers at different network locations. Utilities propagate messages to receivers in a specific area or to their entire network. These signals switch boilers, heating, street lights and tariff modes on meters. AGUILOG® contributes to operational efficiency within a utility and can therefore lead to significant cost savings along its value chain.
Often referred to as the ‘fifth fuel’ ripple control, which is categorised under load management, is a key method to achieve energy efficiency without needing to make significant investment into generation capacity.
